ABOUT OUR CLUB

Club Corvette Nord-Sud was founded in 1994 by Andrée Hotte and a few friends with the idea of getting together people who share the same passion for corvettes.

The club is a non profit organization and we have seen more than 470 members throughout the pas years.

Since the foundation, many important activities and expositions were held. We have made many good friends everywhere. The reputation of our Club has always been very good and every times our members have taken part in an activity, their good behavior has always been noticed and appreciated by everyone.

Club Corvette Nord-Sud was the only Corvette Club who was invited by GM Canada to present the Corvette 1997 to the public for 10 days at the Stade Olympic for the Salon de l'Auto. We also had the pleasure of presenting a 1953 Corvette.

The Club was also invited for the recording of T.V. shows such as "Auto Mag" and "En Route" with Jacques Duval, Michel Barrette and Peter McLeod. During this program dedicated tot the five generations of Corvettes, some of our members were invites to participate with the Corvette.

Furthermore, for the first time in the history of races, a parade was organized at the Gilles Villeneuve race track for the Montreal Grand Prix. Members of our club were very fortunate as they were invited to ride around the race track with the racers in their cars. For many of us this experience will remain in our memories forever.

We also participated at the "Gala International de l'Auto" in Old Montreal. Our Club was also present at the Stanley Cup presentation with Larry Robinson. We were also the only Corvette Club to participate at the Millenium parade of July 1st 2000 this activity was organized by the Mayor and his council. We were also invited by the Municipality of Pierrefonds for their July 1st parade.

These are only a few of the activities restricted to our members. So if you are interested, do not hesitate to contact us. Our Executive and most of our members are bilingual. You can consult our schedule of activities and should you wish to be part of it, please contact our secretary-treasurer to make arrangements to attend, even if you are not a member, this will permit you to meet some of our members and we are sure that you will want to join our circle of friends.

All proprietors of Corvettes who do not reside in Canada and are interested in becoming members of our Club can do so by filling a registration form which can be found under the heading "pour devenir membre". The fee is 40.00 $ canadian funds. Checks should be made to Club Corvette Nord-Sud.

We ask that you also send us a picture of your car. We will then mail your membership card for one year along with a windshiel sticker, a chedule of the activities for the season and all informations which are normally sent to our regular members. This will help you follow all our activities.

Do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail or mail, all letters are answered promptly.
